Introduction to Adobe Illustrator's Edit Colors Module

These diagrams are to be used for pretest study and mid-test reference. The User Interface for many of Illustrators' windows are a bit complex. These diagrams will help you to remember the primary buttons and their use.

The "Assign" side

The Edit side of the Edit Colors Module
  1. Set Current Color as the Base Color
  2. Active Colors
  3. Harmony Rules
  4. Name of Color Group being used
  5. Get Colors from Selected Art
  6. Save Changes to Color Group
  7. New Color Group
  8. Delete Color Group
  9. Color Groups
  10. Limits the color group to colors in a swatch library
  11. Click on Colors above to find them in the artwork
  12. Randomly changes brightness and saturation
  13. Randomly change color order
  14. Specifies the mode of the color adjustment sliders
  15. New Row
  16. Current Colors
  17. Specifies a coloring preset
  18. Color Reduction Options
  19. Controls how many colors will appear in the recolored artwork
  20. Edit active colors
  21. Control how artwork is recolored
